Job Description

• To be present on site
• Provide and execute effective Planning, Strategy and Advisory Plan, for logistics operations across all locations and the establishment of an information database to facilitate and meet COMPANY business requirements while ensuring compliance with COMPANY and Government established policies, procedures and regulatory requirements, practice of good governance and integrity in the overall process and practices to support operations
• Plan, coordinate and manage logistics activities spread across multiple locations separated by wide geographic regions in the safest and cost effective to meet COMPANY business requirements while ensuring compliance with COMPANY established policies, procedures and regulatory requirements, practice of good governance and integrity in the overall processes and practices to support operations.
• Manage ad-hoc & urgent request of logistics with no interruption to operations.
• Plan and implement effective expediting management, tax exemption applications, freight forwarding management to meet COMPANY business requirements while ensuring compliance with company established policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Manage and monitor freight forwarding performance.
• Manage and monitor documents uploaded in Web PILS as per requirement.
• Expedite on the delivery of materials & services as required by the COMPANY.
• Ensure compliance to statutory requirement for inbound and outbound shipment.
• Maintain confidentiality, integrity and sensitivity of information and uphold strict compliance to work processes, guidelines, procedures and regulations set by COMPANY and authorities at all times.
• Represent CONTRACTOR manager in the event he/she is not available.
• Plan and manage the hauler for import and export shipments.
• Represent COMPANY to deal with local authorities (i.e., customs/OGA) - for day-today escalation.
• Coordinate with the liners/freight forwarder detention/demurrage.
• Prepare, coordinate and process the application of payment for customs duty, GST and/or SST, advance payment to COMPANY's vendors/ sub-vendors for submission to COMPANY's finance in order to facilitate expediting process.

Requirements

• At least 3-5 years experience in Supply Chain Management.
• Minimum degree holder in Logistics, Economics, Business Discipline or equivalent.
• Experience in Oil, Gas & Petrochemical industry is an added advantage

OR

• Minimum diploma holder or equivalent.
• At least 5-7 years experience in supervisor level (advantage if exposure to the logistics and freight forwarding) environment.
• Professional qualification in Freight Forwarding or Logistics will be an added advantage.
