Responsibilities
Summary Of Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Develops CTA and site budget templates for each study.
- Prepares and negotiates CTAs between sites and per contract ensuring contracts are mutually beneficial for both site and sponsor/client.
- Serves as primary site contracts lead person for studies, internally and externally.
- Collaborates with Project Management and sponsor on establishing document process flow for each study and follows process accordingly.
- Collaborates with other departments involved in study start-up activities to ensure timely initiation of sites.
- Responsible for coordinating Letters of Indemnification between sponsors and sites, as requested.
- Tracks CTA status and maintains effective communications with sites and internal staff regarding site study activities related to contract payment agreements.
- Reports status of CTA to Project Managers, sponsors and other applicable staff.
- Provides support to finance, which may include but not limited to, calculating investigator payments and managing meetings to review project monthly accruals with applicable departments.
- Additional duties as assigned and mutually agreed upon with management.
- Advanced knowledge of Intellectual Property issues, publication issues, indemnification issues, and other standard issues of site contracts within the clinical research industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Science or Health Care discipline, preferred.
- 3 – 5 years of prior site contract experience in a client service role at a biotechnology or pharmaceutical company, clinical research organization, or other organization supporting clinical research.
- Demonstrated experience using mathematics in advanced spreadsheets.
