Reports to: Operation Manager/ Managing Director

Location: Papar, Sabah, Malaysia

Job Purpose

Project Engineer will lead the planning, coordinating, executing, and monitoring projects to ensure completion in safety, high quality, schedule, and budget are met. This role is a full-time position based in Papar, Sabah with the tagline: 

Delivering Projects Safely, Efficiently and Professionally. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Plans and execute projects within the client's scope of work
• Prepare project execution plans, method statements and work schedules
• Determine workforce, equipment, material requirements
• Review technical drawings and related documents
• Provide technical support to technician teams such as supervisors and technicians
• Ensure effective use of machinery, tooling and equipment
• Attending technical meetings, prepare project reports including monitor and update project reports
• Ensure & monitor compliance with HSE standards and QA/QC

Skills & Requirements

• Possess a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent field
• Minimum three (3) years of working experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Maintenance services
• Experience in Controlled Bolting, Flange Facing, Cold Cutting & Beveling, Line Boring, and In-Situ Machining
• Proficiency in Project Management and Resource Planning with Technical Troubleshooting skills
• Effective communication skills with clients and monitor budgeting processes to ensure efficiency of cost control

• Achieve project completion rate on schedule of ≥95%
• Ensure strict HSE compliance without Lost Time Injuries (LTI)
• Maintain project cost variance within ≤5%
• Deliver customer satisfaction score of ≥90%
• Secure project profit margins aligned with company target
