  • Support container utilisation and shipment consolidation planning to improve freight efficiency and reduce cost.

Issue Resolution and Risk Management

  • Proactively identify and resolve order-related issues, including delays, short shipments, documentation discrepancies, and quality concerns.

Systems, Tools, and Process Improvement

  • Work with SAP S/4HANA and/or other ERP systems to manage order workflows, data accuracy, and operational controls.

  • Support the implementation, rollout, and continuous improvement of the purchase order management tool.

  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, visibility, and accuracy through process improvement initiatives.

Team Leadership and Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Lead, coach, and develop the ordering team to ensure strong performance and high-quality execution.

  • Collaborate closely with supply planning, sourcing, quality, accounting, inbound shipping, and other key stakeholders.

KPI Management and Reporting

  • Develop, monitor, and improve key operational KPIs, including order accuracy, supplier confirmation lead time, on-time shipment, on-time delivery, and supplier performance.

  • Prepare regular reports and performance updates for internal stakeholders.

What We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Procurement, or a related field.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in order management, supply chain operations, procurement operations, supply planning, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in managing operational order flows in an international sourcing environment.

  • Strong understanding of purchase order processes, supplier follow-up, and inbound supply chain coordination.

  • Experience leading or coordinating teams in a fast-paced operational environment.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into actions and operational improvements.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with a hands-on and proactive approach.

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.

  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.

  • Open-minded, adaptable, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment.

  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA is highly preferred; experience with other ERP systems is also welcome.

  • Experience with purchase order management tools, workflow systems, or system implementation projects.

  • Experience managing supplier shipments, cargo readiness, and/or goods consolidation in China or Asia.

  • Strong Excel and reporting capabilities, with experience in KPI tracking and performance analysis.

  • Experience in e-commerce, consumer goods, or international sourcing environments would be an advantage.
