Standard Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the maintenance and operation of electrical systems and equipment within the premises.
- Carries out routine inspection, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical installations.
- Ensures all electrical work complies with Suruhanjaya Tenaga (Energy Commission) regulations and safety standards.
- Responds promptly to electrical breakdowns and power failures.
- Performs corrective and preventive maintenance on electrical panels, switchboards, and distribution systems.
- Maintains proper records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repair works.
- Coordinates with contractors and service providers for specialized electrical work.
- Ensures all electrical systems are energy-efficient and operating optimally.
- Leads and supervises maintenance team members on electrical-related tasks.
- Monitors electrical load usage and recommends improvements or upgrades when necessary.
- Ensures safe working practices and usage of PPE during all electrical work.
- Stays updated on electrical codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
