Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and revise detailed technical drawings, shop drawings, and as-built drawings for retail fit-out and renovation projects.
• Interpret design concepts and translate them into accurate construction drawings using AutoCAD.
• Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Designers and Quantity Surveyors to ensure drawing accuracy and project feasibility.
• Update drawings based on client feedback, site measurements, design revisions, and construction requirements.
• Ensure all drawings comply with company standards, local authority requirements, and relevant industry practices.
• Conduct site measurements and verification when required to ensure drawing accuracy.
• Maintain organized documentation and drawing records throughout the project lifecycle.
• Assist the project team with drawing submissions, revisions, and coordination with clients, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Continuously improve drafting knowledge by keeping up to date with industry trends, software enhancements, and retail fit-out best practices.

Qualifications & Skills

The ideal candidate should possess:

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Drafting Technology, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD (mandatory).
• Knowledge of SketchUp, Revit, or other 3D modelling software will be an added advantage.
• Good understanding of construction drawings, detailing, materials, and retail fit-out practices.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate drawings within tight project timelines.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple drawing revisions while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.

Experience Requirements

• Fresh graduates with strong technical drafting skills are encouraged to apply.
• Candidates with up to 3 years of experience in drafting, interior fit-out, renovation, or construction projects are welcome.
• Exposure to retail interior fit-out projects will be an added advantage.
• Willing to travel for site measurements, project coordination, and site inspections when required.

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
