What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Serve as the primary contact for patients regarding medical record requests and myChart support
• Maintain accurate records of all requests and payments related to patient accounts
• Assist users with inquiries about the myChart application
• Communicate effectively the processes for obtaining medical records
• Provide a positive first impression as an ambassador for the HIM department
  
  

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in health information management, physician office, clinical or hospital business office, or applicable college education
  
  

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Associate degree in Health Information Management or a related field
• Current enrollment in a CAHIIM-approved program
• Previous experience with Epic and/or electronic medical records (EMR)
• Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) certification
