Role Description The Clinic Assistant role at PMG Pharmacy Sdn Bhd is a full-time, on-site position based in Keningau. The Clinic Assistant will support daily clinic operations by assisting healthcare professionals with patient registration, appointment scheduling, and basic administrative tasks. Responsibilities include managing patient records, handling billing and payment processes, and guiding patients through clinic procedures with clear communication and care. The role also involves maintaining a clean and orderly clinic environment, preparing consultation rooms, and ensuring supplies are stocked. The Clinic Assistant will collaborate closely with clinic and pharmacy teams to help deliver efficient, patient-centered service.

Qualifications

  • Strong patient service and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and compassionately with diverse communities.
  • Basic administrative, data entry, and record-keeping skills, including familiarity with clinic systems or willingness to learn.
  • Organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple tasks, appointments, and workflows efficiently.
  • Attention to detail in handling patient information, billing, and documentation to ensure accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a healthcare team and follow clinical procedures and instructions reliably.
  • Willingness to adhere to healthcare safety, hygiene, and infection-control standards within the clinic environment.
  • Minimum of secondary school education; a certificate or diploma in healthcare-related or administrative fields is an advantage.
  • Prior experience in a clinic, pharmacy, or healthcare setting is beneficial but motivated entry-level applicants are encouraged to apply.
