The role
We're growing our delivery team and looking for a recruiter who can own technical hiring for our engineering and energy clients. You'll work directly on live projects — including data centre and electrical & instrumentation (E&I) builds — sourcing, engaging and placing engineering and project talent across Malaysia.
This is a hands-on, end-to-end recruitment role. You'll manage roles from briefing through to offer, and build genuine relationships with both candidates and client contacts.
What you'll do
- Manage technical vacancies end to end: take the brief, source, screen, shortlist, coordinate interviews, and support through to offer and onboarding.
- Source engineering and project talent — for example electrical, E&I and commissioning engineers, QA/QC, planners, and site support roles.
- Build and maintain a strong candidate pipeline and keep our candidate records accurate and up to date.
- Act as the day-to-day point of contact for client hiring managers, giving clear updates and honest market feedback.
- Write and post job adverts, and manage applications across job boards and LinkedIn.
- Keep on top of salary benchmarks and market trends in the engineering and construction space.
What we're looking for
- 2–3+ years in recruitment, ideally agency / 360 or RPO, in engineering, construction, energy, oil & gas, or a related technical field.
- A track record of filling technical or hard-to-find roles.
- Confident sourcing on LinkedIn, job boards and through your own network.
- Strong communicator who can speak credibly with technical candidates and hiring managers.
- Organised and accurate with candidate data and pipeline tracking.
- Comfortable working to targets and deadlines.
Nice to have
- Exposure to data centre, E&I or commissioning hiring.
- Familiarity with the Malaysian contractor / main-contractor landscape.
- Experience using an ATS or a structured candidate database (e.g. Notion or similar).
Pay: From RM3,500.00 per month
