Responsibilities

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Food & Beverage (F&B) Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of our food and beverage operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences while ensuring efficient daily operations, maintaining high service standards, and achieving business profitability across the restaurant, bar, and banquet operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, organise, and oversee the daily operations of all food and beverage outlets, including restaurants, bars, room service, and banquet functions.
  • Develop menus, pricing strategies, and promotional activities in collaboration with the Head Chef to maximise revenue and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure exceptional guest service by maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, and service delivery.
  • Monitor compliance with food safety, hygiene, health, and sanitation regulations at all times.
  • Prepare and manage departmental budgets, monitor operating costs, and implement effective cost control measures.
  • Manage inventory, purchasing, and supplier relationships to ensure consistent product quality and cost efficiency.
  • Recruit, train, supervise, and motivate the F&B team to achieve operational excellence.
  • Prepare staff duty rosters and ensure adequate manpower to meet operational requirements.
  • Handle guest enquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally, ensuring prompt resolution and continuous service improvement.
  • Analyse sales performance and operational reports to identify opportunities for increased revenue and improved efficiency.
  • Coordinate closely with the Kitchen, Sales & Marketing, Front Office, and other departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and all relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by Management.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Food & Beverage Management, Hotel Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2–5 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role within the food and beverage industry.
  • Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
  • Sound knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and hospitality service excellence.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, cost control, and inventory management.
  • Customer-focused with excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and POS (Point-of-Sale) systems.
  • Able to work flexible hours, including weekends, public holidays, and shifts when required.

Preferred Skills (Added Advantage)

  • Experience in hotel, resort, or integrated hospitality operations.
  • Knowledge of menu engineering, revenue optimisation, and banquet operations.
  • Food Handler's Certificate and HACCP or food safety certification.
  • Experience with inventory management and hospitality management systems.
  • Ability to lead a diverse team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high service standards.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
