Location: Sena Specialist Hospital, Segamat, Johor

Responsibilities:

• Emphasizes and adheres to the policy and procedures of the linen department for Sena Segamat Specialist Hospital
• Ensure documentation and monthly report based on MSQH standard requirements. This includes keeping and updating the Laundry / linen productivity report on a daily basis.
• Coordinates and supervises all personnel in the processing of linen trains, orients, maintains records, schedules of linen staff.
• Ensure linens in the hospital are clean based on schedule (curtain etc)
• Maintains a high standard of clean, fresh and safe linen in accordance with department & infection control policies and procedures
• Utilizes best practices, par level programs
• Expense out linen/scrubs monthly to nursing floors
• Ensures compliance with infection control policies and procedures
• Oversee the loading of carts and place accurately as requested.
• Oversee in getting filled linen carts to designated areas
• Ensure that linen and uniforms are properly stored and recorded
• Ensure that the proper procedure is followed when linen or uniform needs to be discarded
• Ensure that all uniforms are ready for special events as well as for any seasonal events
• Receive records and oversee sorting of clean uniform from laundry and arrange them properly on the shelves and racks.

Requirements:

• Minimum qualification of a SPM or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year experience in linen or laundry services, preferably in a healthcare environment.
• Good organizational, and inventory management skills with knowledge of infection control practices.
• Must willing to work 5.5 days

Working Hours:

• Monday - Friday: 8.30am - 5.30pm
• Saturday: 8.30am - 12.30pm

Pay: RM1,900.00 - RM2,100.00 per month
