Job Summary

We are seeking an Audio Visual Technician to support the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of audio visual systems and equipment at Kompleks PPJ. The successful candidate will ensure AV facilities are functioning efficiently and provide technical support during meetings, conferences, events, and official functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot audio visual equipment and systems.
  • Set up and support AV equipment for meetings, conferences, presentations, and official events.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on audio systems, microphones, speakers, projectors, LED displays, video conferencing systems, and related equipment.
  • Conduct routine inspections to ensure AV equipment is in good working condition.
  • Provide technical assistance to users during events and functions.
  • Monitor and maintain meeting room and conference room AV facilities.
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors for repairs, servicing, and equipment upgrades.
  • Ensure proper storage, handling, and inventory control of AV equipment.
  • Maintain maintenance records, equipment logs, and technical documentation.
  • Respond promptly to technical issues and equipment breakdowns.
  • Ensure compliance with workplace safety requirements and company procedures.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Certificate, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Audio Visual Technology, Multimedia, Electronics, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in audio visual support, event technical support, or facilities management.
  • Knowledge of audio systems, video systems, projectors, LED displays, microphones, and conferencing equipment.
  • Basic troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with video conferencing platforms and meeting room technologies.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience supporting government buildings, convention centres, or corporate facilities.
  • Knowledge of digital audio systems and video conferencing solutions.
  • Experience in event setup and technical support.
  • Basic networking knowledge for AV systems is an advantage.
  • Valid driving licence is an advantage.
