Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
1. Data Analysis & Business Insights
Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and business opportunities.
Provide actionable insights to support retail and supply chain decision-making.
2. Dashboarding & Analytics
Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytical tools to monitor business performance, inventory health, and key operational metrics.
3. What-if Simulation
Develop simulation models to evaluate business scenarios and assess the impact of changes in pricing, assortment, inventory, display, and operational strategies.
4. Allocation & Inventory Optimization
Design and implement optimization solutions for inventory allocation and replenishment across stores while balancing demand, stock availability, and operational constraints.
5. Forecasting & Model Evaluation (Added Advantage)
Build and maintain forecasting models.
Evaluate model performance using appropriate metrics.
Continuously improve prediction accuracy.
6. Process Improvement & Automation (Added Advantage)
Identify process gaps and inefficiencies.
Propose data-driven solutions.
Develop automation tools to improve operational efficiency and business productivity.
Requirements:
A background in analytics, business, economics, engineering, mathematics, or related fields.
1–2 years of experience in retail, supply chain, FMCG, procurement, or related industries is preferred.
Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, BI tools, Python (Pandas, Scikit-learn)).
Strong ability to communicate analytical findings to stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Able to think from a business perspective first.
