Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Analysis & Business Insights

• Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and business opportunities.

• Provide actionable insights to support retail and supply chain decision-making.

2. Dashboarding & Analytics

• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytical tools to monitor business performance, inventory health, and key operational metrics.

3. What-if Simulation

• Develop simulation models to evaluate business scenarios and assess the impact of changes in pricing, assortment, inventory, display, and operational strategies.

4. Allocation & Inventory Optimization

• Design and implement optimization solutions for inventory allocation and replenishment across stores while balancing demand, stock availability, and operational constraints.

5. Forecasting & Model Evaluation (Added Advantage)

• Build and maintain forecasting models.

• Evaluate model performance using appropriate metrics.

• Continuously improve prediction accuracy.

6. Process Improvement & Automation (Added Advantage)

• Identify process gaps and inefficiencies.

• Propose data-driven solutions.

• Develop automation tools to improve operational efficiency and business productivity.

Requirements:

• A background in analytics, business, economics, engineering, mathematics, or related fields.

• 1–2 years of experience in retail, supply chain, FMCG, procurement, or related industries is preferred.

• Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, BI tools, Python (Pandas, Scikit-learn)).

• Strong ability to communicate analytical findings to stakeholders.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Able to think from a business perspective first.
