Job Description – Construction Engineer (Precast Industry)
- Review and interpret precast drawings, structural designs, and specifications.
- Coordinate with design engineers on mold design, reinforcement layout, and lifting points.
- Plan production schedules and installation sequences.
- Supervise precast element manufacturing (molds, reinforcement, concrete casting, curing).
- Ensure compliance with quality standards (dimensional accuracy, surface finish, strength tests).
- Monitor pre-tensioning and post-tensioning processes for prestressed elements.
- Plan logistics for transporting precast components to site.
- Supervise erection/installation of precast beams, slabs, walls, and columns.
- Ensure safe lifting, alignment, and grouting during assembly.
- Ensure adherence to building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
- Conduct site inspections and risk assessments.
- Prepare QA/QC documentation and progress reports.
Education: Bachelor’s in Civil/Structural/Construction Engineering.
Experience: 2–5 years in precast concrete or structural construction preferred.
Skills:
- Knowledge of precast production methods (molds, curing, prestressing).
- Familiarity with CAD/BIM software for shop drawings.
- Strong project management and coordination skills.
- Safety and quality assurance awareness.
Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
