Job Description

Responsibilities

LMW & Customs Compliance

  • Manage and oversee all Licensed Manufacturing Warehouse (LMW) activities to ensure full compliance with requirements established by the Royal Malaysian Customs Department (RMCD).
  • Prepare, review, and submit monthly and annual LMW reports accurately and within statutory deadlines.
  • Act as the key liaison with Customs authorities during audits, inspections, and compliance reviews.
  • Monitor and ensure adherence to customs regulations, company policies, and internal compliance procedures.

Import & Export Operations

  • Handle and coordinate import and export documentation, including Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Bills of Lading, Air Waybills, permits, and Customs declarations (e.g., K1, K2, K9, and other related forms).
  • Ensure accurate HS Code classification, tariff determination, and compliance with customs requirements for import/export declarations and duty exemption applications.
  • Coordinate closely with internal departments, customs brokers, freight forwarders, shipping agents, and government authorities to facilitate smooth customs clearance and logistics operations.
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of import, export, local delivery, scrap disposal, and other transactions under LMW and related customs schemes.
  • Support continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance logistics efficiency, documentation accuracy, and regulatory compliance.

Training & Regulatory Compliance

  • Provide guidance, support, and training to internal stakeholders on LMW procedures, customs requirements, and logistics best practices.
  • Stay updated on changes in Malaysian customs regulations, trade policies, SST requirements, and international trade compliance standards.
  • Assist with compliance audits, investigations, and special projects as assigned by management.
  • Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned from time to time.

Job Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4–5 years of relevant experience in logistics operations, customs compliance, supply chain management, or import/export administration.
  • Strong knowledge of Malaysian Customs regulations, LMW operations, import/export procedures, SST regulations, and duty exemption requirements.
  • Familiar with HS Code classification, tariff structures, customs valuation, duty and tax computations, and exemption application processes.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and coordination skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams, customs authorities, and external service providers.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and logistics or customs-related systems.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month

Work Location: In person
