Responsibilities
Job Summary
To support sales and operations by handling customer enquiries, sales orders, documentation, and delivery coordination accurately and efficiently, ensuring smooth order processing and timely concrete supply. The role also ensures effective communication between customers, batching plant, dispatch, finance, and internal teams to maintain customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Job Responsibilties
1. Customer Order & Enquiry Handling
- Receive and record customer enquiries for ready-mix concrete.
- Prepare quotations based on pricing guidelines provided by Sales/Management.
- Issue Sales Orders (SO) accurately with correct mix design, site details, quantity and delivery timings.
- Update customers on order confirmation, changes, delays or cancellations
2. Delivery Coordination
- Coordinate with Batching Plant, Dispatch/Cubeman for truck allocation and delivery timing.
- Ensure correct mix design and quantity are communicated to the plant.
- Follow up on delivery status to ensure timely dispatch and resolve any delivery issues.
3. Documentation & Administrative Work
- Prepare DOs, invoices requests, and necessary delivery documents.
- Ensure completed delivery orders (DOs) are returned, signed, and filed properly.
- Maintain daily sales records, concrete supply summary, delivery schedule, and booking log.
- Assist in preparing monthly sales reports, volume reports, and customer consumption analysis.
4. Customer Service & Support
- Handle customer complaints politely and escalate to Sales/Operations if needed.
- Assist customers with product information such as mix types, strength classes, slump requirements, etc.
- Maintain good relationship with regular customers and contractors.
5. Coordination With Finance & Credit Control
- Follow up on customer credit limits, payment terms, and outstanding invoices.
- Inform Sales team if customer exceeds credit limit before confirming orders.
- Support accounts department in DO verification for billing.
6. Internal Communication & Support
- Work closely with Sales Executives, Operation Supervisor, Batching Plant, and QC team.
- Ensure all sales-related information is updated accurately for internal use.
- Support ad-hoc tasks assigned by Sales Manager or Management.
7. Other Administrative Tasks
- Assist in arrangement of staff travel, accommodation, and meeting logistics.
- Support other departments with administrative tasks when required.
Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
