Job Summary
The Facility Executive is responsible for assisting in the day-to-day management and maintenance of school facilities to ensure a safe, clean, and efficient learning environment. This role involves coordinating maintenance activities, managing vendors, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and supporting the overall operations of the school's infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
1. Facility Maintenance & Operations
- Oversee daily facility operations, ensuring buildings, classrooms, playgrounds, and common areas are well-maintained.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs and coordinate necessary repairs.
- Ensure all electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and security systems are functioning properly.
- Maintain an inventory of equipment and facility supplies.
2. Safety & Compliance
- Assist in implementing and monitoring health, safety, and environmental policies.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure compliance with fire, health, and safety regulations.
- Support emergency preparedness, including fire drills and evacuation procedures.
- Ensure security measures, including access control and CCTV systems, are operational.
3. Vendor & Contractor Coordination
- Liaise with external vendors and contractors for maintenance, cleaning, and security services.
- Monitor service contracts and ensure vendors meet agreed service levels.
- Assist in procuring facility-related equipment and supplies.
4. Budget & Cost Control
- Assist in managing the facilities budget by tracking expenses and suggesting cost-saving measures.
- Monitor utility usage and recommend energy-saving initiatives.
5. Space Management & Event Support
- Ensure efficient use of classrooms, meeting rooms, and common spaces.
- Coordinate facility arrangements for school events, examinations, and extracurricular activities.
- Support furniture and equipment setup for school functions.
6. Sustainability & Environmental Initiatives
- Promote eco-friendly practices such as waste management, recycling, and energy conservation.
- Assist in implementing sustainability programs within the school community.
Pay: From RM2,500.00 per month
