Job Summary
The Safety & Facilities Executive will be the primary point of contact for site maintenance and workplace safety. You will ensure the manufacturing plant remains compliant with Malaysian laws while coordinating all facility upkeep to prevent operational downtime.
Responsibilities:
- Integrated Safety Oversight: Administer and monitor comprehensive safety protocols across the manufacturing plant to ensure a zero-accident work environment.
- Standards & Quality Compliance: Support and maintain documentation for ISO (9001/14001) and IATF 16949 standards, ensuring all safety and facility processes meet international auditing requirements.
- Facility & Operational Maintenance: Coordinate the upkeep of factory infrastructure and utilities (HVAC, compressed air, and electrical systems) to guarantee uninterrupted and safe production operations.
- Automotive & Fleet Compliance: Manage the certification and safety standards for all company vehicles and material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, reach trucks), ensuring compliance with automotive industry safety protocols.
- EHS Audit & Risk Mitigation: Execute regular site safety audits and Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Risk Control (HIRARC); implement and enforce internal EHS policies to align with latest OSHA regulations.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in OSH, Engineering, or Facilities Management.
- 1–3 years related experience in a manufacturing industry
- Experienced in building maintenance or building facilities
- Familiarity with OSHA 1994 (and 2022 amendments)..
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for logging maintenance and safety data.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
