Application Question(s):
- Do you possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field, such as chemical, mechanical, or industrial engineering? If not, what is your highest education?
- Technical Foundation & Process Documentation: This role requires converting external technical documents and creating internal process standards (process cards, work instructions). Can you briefly describe your experience in writing or interpreting technical work instructions for a production floor, and which specific manufacturing industry this was for?
- Process Control & Discipline: A key duty is conducting 'process discipline inspections' and issuing corrections to operators who violate procedures. How would you handle a situation where a veteran operator refuses to follow a new process standard you have designed?
- Equipment Capability Assessment: You must evaluate if equipment capabilities match product needs. Have you ever had to propose a new equipment purchase or modification because existing machines couldn't meet new product specs? What was the outcome?
- Six Sigma & Efficiency (The Nitty-Gritty): The JD requires knowledge of 6 Sigma. Could you give an example of a project where you used DMAIC or a specific 6 Sigma tool to reduce waste or improve a process in a previous role?
- Do you have work experience in Electronics, Semiconductors, or Precision Machining industry over the last 3 years?
- What is your last drawn basic & fixed monthly allowance and expected gross salary per month in MYR?
- Do you have proven experience writing Process Cards, Work Instructions, and Process Flow Diagrams from scratch?
