1. Phonics Instruction
- Plan and deliver structured phonics lessons aligned with the school's curriculum and literacy goals.
- Teach letter-sound relationships, blending, segmenting, decoding, and encoding skills.
- Support the development of reading fluency, vocabulary, spelling, and comprehension.
- Use a variety of teaching methods, resources, and activities to engage learners.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of students with varying abilities.
2. Student Assessment and Progress Monitoring
- Assess students' phonics knowledge and literacy development regularly.
- Track and document student progress and achievement.
- Identify students requiring additional support and develop intervention strategies.
- Prepare progress reports and provide recommendations for improvement.
3. Classroom Management
- Create a positive, safe, and stimulating learning environment.
- Maintain classroom discipline and encourage positive learning behaviors.
- Organize teaching materials, learning resources, and literacy activities effectively.
- Ensure students remain engaged and motivated during lessons.
4. Parent Communication
- Communicate student progress and learning goals with parents and guardians.
- Provide guidance to parents on supporting phonics and reading development at home.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings and school events.
- Address parent inquiries regarding students' literacy development.
5. Curriculum and Resource Development
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of phonics and literacy programs.
- Create and adapt teaching materials, worksheets, assessments, and learning aids.
- Stay updated on best practices and research in phonics and literacy education.
- Recommend resources and tools to improve student learning outcomes.
6. Collaboration and Professional Development
- Work closely with classroom teachers and academic staff to support literacy development.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development programs.
- Share effective teaching strategies and best practices with colleagues.
- Support school literacy initiatives and educational events.
Pay: RM1,453.33 - RM4,770.13 per month
