Job Description
POSITION GENERAL SUMMARY
Execute the maintenance works as per maintenance plan as well as to supervise the maintenance works so as to achieve the specified maintenance standards; best practices and quality and to ensure the serviceability and reliability of facilities as well as operational efficiency and cost optimization.
ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS
Ensure the execution of maintenance works as per maintenance plan
Ensure high standard/quality of maintenance work accordance to best practices so as to ensure serviceability; reliability of facilities and cost optimization
Assist in analyzing system performance ; identifies trends for the facilities and equipment breakdowns and recommends for continuous improvement action
Assist in analyzing cost implications of the operations; maintenance and repair activities and recommend for budgetary
Manage and monitoring the performance of the contractor in executing the maintenance works
Assist in preparation of specification; compiling of information etc for the establishing of contract; repair work and development work
Key Challenges
Knowledgeable in basic Contract Management
Keeps abreast with the latest technology and best practices in the industries
Skills
Hands-on skills in maintenance and operational of airport facilities (Electrical)
Working knowledge of contract management
Working knowledge in managing multiple vendors and contractors
Knowledge in SAP system would be an added advantage
Relevant Industries
External
Diploma of Engineering/Technical with a minimum 1 year of relevant working experience or;
SPM/SPMV or STPM with SKM (level III in Engineering/Technical) or Engineering/Technical certificate recognized by JPA/MQA with a minimum of 3 years relevant working experience or
SPM/SPMV or STPM with SKM(level II in Engineering/Technical) with a minimum of 5 years relevant working experience or
SPM or SPMV with minimum of 7 years relevant working experience in related field
Education
Diploma Engineering/Technical or;
SPM/SPMV or STPM with SKM or;
SPM or SPMV
