Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and presentation of cold dishes, salads, appetizers, sandwiches, and cold buffets.
  • Prepare ingredients such as vegetables, fruits, cold cuts, dressings, and garnishes according to recipes and standards.
  • Ensure food quality, freshness, and attractive presentation of all cold kitchen items.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cold kitchen work area.
  • Monitor stock levels and report shortages to the Chef de Partie or Sous Chef.
  • Ensure proper storage, labeling, and rotation of food products following FIFO procedures.
  • Adhere to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
  • Assist in buffet setup, replenishment, and breakdown as required.
  • Support the team in preparing banquet and catering cold food items.
  • Minimize food wastage and maintain portion control.
  • Operate and maintain kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Assist with receiving, checking, and storing food deliveries.
  • Follow standard recipes and production schedules to meet operational requirements.
  • Work closely with other kitchen sections to ensure smooth service.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the Chef de Partie, Sous Chef, or Executive Chef.

Pay: RM2,100.00 - RM2,400.00 per month
