Scope of Work:

• Provide continuous technical support in handling escalated faults
• Perform detailed troubleshooting, configuration support, system optimization, and root cause analysis
• Coordinate with customers, project teams, and third-party vendors
• Support testing, commissioning, and service acceptance activities
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation
• Ensure compliance with SLA requirements

Requirement:

Experience & Background

• Minimum 1–3 years of hands-on experience in telecommunications or networking
• Proven experience in DWDM systems installation, commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting
• Experience supporting large-scale infrastructure or railway/transport projects is an advantage

Technical Knowledge

• Strong knowledge of DWDM systems and optical transmission networks
• Strong understanding of optical fiber testing tools (OTDR, power meter, spectrum analyzer)
• Good knowledge of network topology, fiber link budget, and transmission performance monitoring

Technical Skills

• Equipment installation supervision
• Commissioning and system integration
• Fault diagnosis and rectification
• Acceptance testing support
• Familiar with network documentation, method statements, and technical reporting

Languages

• Proficiency in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients (spoken and written) and in English (technical documentation and reporting)

Other Requirements

• Must be based full-time in Kuantan, Pahang
• Willing to work extended hours, weekends, or public holidays when required
• Able to mobilize immediately or on short notice
• Strong coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Able to work independently on-site with minimal supervision
• Strong problem-solving skills in time-sensitive project environments
• Provide regular technical reports and support preventive maintenance activities when required

Job Type: Contract

Pay: RM5,500.00 - RM7,500.00 per month
