The Accounts Executive at Moby Money is responsible for supporting daily financial operations, maintaining accurate financial records, and contributing to budgeting and reporting activities. You will play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency within a fast-paced fintech environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare daily settlement reports and process merchant payments.
  • Upload and monitor daily bank statements and fund balances.
  • Perform bank, settlement, and accounts payable reconciliations.
  • Process and verify refund transactions in accordance with company procedures.
  • Manage scheduled and ad hoc payments, ensuring proper approvals are obtained.
  • Update payment schedules and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Request Statements of Account (SOA) from vendors for reconciliation
  • Prepare accounting entries and perform postings in Accounting System
  • Reconcile transactions with business partners and payment service providers.
  • Prepare invoices and update Accounts Receivable (AR) payment schedules.
  • Maintain proper documentation and ensure accuracy in all finance-related activities.
  • Assist with ad hoc finance and administrative tasks assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience preferred; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, etc.).
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
