Overview of the Position :
We are seeking a proactive and results-oriented Assistant Manager to support the overall management and daily operations of our branch. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring operational excellence, delivering exceptional customer service, leading branch staff, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting sales and marketing initiatives. This position requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to foster a positive customer experience while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
The role required to execute the below tasks and initiative:
Branch Operations Management
- Assist in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the branch to ensure smooth and efficient business activities.
- Maintain a professional, clean, organized, and welcoming branch environment, including event halls, meeting rooms, customer service counters, offices, and common areas.
- Monitor branch facilities and coordinate maintenance requirements to ensure operational readiness at all times.
- Manage meeting rooms and event facilities, including bookings, room setup, audiovisual equipment, seating arrangements, and overall venue readiness.
Inventory & Stock Management
- Ensure adequate inventory levels are maintained to support sales activities, promotional campaigns, and customer demand.
- Conduct regular stock audits and inventory checks to ensure accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
- Monitor stock movements and coordinate replenishment with relevant departments to prevent stock shortages.
Team Leadership & Development
- Ensure sufficient manpower planning and staff scheduling to support daily branch operations.
- Conduct regular training sessions on product knowledge, standard operating procedures (SOPs), company policies, customer service standards, and other operational requirements.
Customer Service Excellence
- Handle customer enquiries, feedback, complaints, and order processing in a professional and timely manner.
- Ensure all customers and members receive fair, consistent, and high-quality service experiences.
- Work closely with the Customer Service team and relevant departments to resolve customer issues within established service turnaround times.
- Keep abreast of company products, promotions, activities, and updates to provide accurate information and guidance to customers and team members.
Sales & Event Support
- Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing team in the planning, coordination, and execution of branch events, product launches, training sessions, and promotional activities.
- Support branch initiatives aimed at enhancing customer engagement and driving business growth.
Reporting & Administration
- Prepare operational reports and maintain accurate branch records as required.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
- Perform any other duties and projects assigned by the superior and management from time to time.
To be successful in this role, we are expecting the below:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, Retail Management, or a related field.
- Experience in retail/branch operations, customer service, inventory management, and team supervision is preferred. Candidates with a background in the direct selling (MLM) industry will have an added advantage.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining effective collaboration with headquarters and cross-functional teams.
- Willing to work on weekends and outside working hours when required.
- Willing to travel for events when needed.
- Work location: Kuching, Sarawak ( Near to Ibraco Berhad Northbank)
- Working days : Monday to Friday (10 am - 7 pm)
