Job description
1. Implement and oversee strategies to improve plant efficiency, reduce costs, and minimize environmental impact.
2. Develop and execute plans for plant upgrades, expansions, or modifications as needed.
3. Oversee the maintenance and repair of plant equipment and infrastructure, ensuring reliable and efficient operation.
4. Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend the life of equipment.
5. Coordinate with vendors and contractors for the procurement, installation, and maintenance of equipment.
6. Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations to protect staff and the environment.
7. Develop and implement safety protocols, emergency response plans, and risk management strategies.
8. Conduct regular safety audits, training sessions, and drills to maintain a safe working environment.
9. Implement cost-saving measures where possible.
10. Oversee procurement processes and manage vendor relationships.
11. Serve as the primary point of contact for DOE, community representatives, and other stakeholders.
12. Communicate plant performance, compliance status, and operational updates to stakeholders, including company management.
13. Address community concerns or complaints related to plant operations and environmental impact.
14. Lead and manage projects related to plant expansion, upgrades, or new technology implementation.
15. Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
16. Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to senior management and other stakeholders.
17. Maintain accurate records of plant operations, maintenance activities, safety incidents, and regulatory compliance.
18. Prepare detailed reports on plant performance, operational efficiency, and compliance status for internal and external review.
19. Implement and maintain document control systems to ensure proper documentation of all operational and compliance-related activities.
20. Develop and implement long-term strategic plans for the plant, including capacity planning, technology upgrades, and sustainability initiatives.
21. Identify opportunities for innovation and modernization of treatment processes to enhance plant efficiency and environmental performance.
22. Participate in organizational planning and decision-making processes as part of the executive management team.
23. To ensure compliance and drive continuous improvement in accordance to requirement of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and IATF 16949 management system.
Minimum Skills
· Diploma in Electrical / Electronic / Mechanical field / Technical Certificate.
· Preferably min. 2 years of working experience in maintenance, WWTP Operation and Schedule Waste Management.
· Qualified Competent Person (from EiMAS) for Schedule Waste Management and Waste Water Treatment Plant Operation.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,200.00 per month
