Job Summary

To supervise and coordinate daily security operations to ensure the safety, security and protection of company personnel, assets, information and premises. Responsible for enforcing security policies, monitoring security personnel performance, and ensuring all access control and emergency response procedures are effectively implemented in compliance with company standards and regulations.

Job Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily security operations to ensure safety and security compliance within the premises.
• Monitor security personnel performance, attendance, and discipline during assigned shifts.
• Ensure all security procedures, access control policies, and company regulations are properly implemented.
• Conduct routine patrols, inspections and incident investigation within facility.
• Monitor CCTV systems, alarm systems, and security equipment to ensure operational effectiveness.
• Prepare daily reports, incident reports, and security documentation accurately and timely.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external authorities during emergencies or security incidents.
• Provide guidance, briefing and on-job training to security officers.
• Ensure proper enforcement of visitor managements, vehicle control, and restricted area access procedures.
• Respond immediately to emergencies, safety hazards and security breaches to minimize operational risk.
• Support audits, compliance activities and continuous improvement of security operations.
• Maintain high standards of professionalism, integrity and confidentiality in all security matters.
• Supervise and manage security officers during assigned shifts.
• Enforce company security policies, SOPs and access control procedures.
• Conduct routine inspections, patrols and security checks within the premises.
• Investigate and report security incidents, violations and suspicious activities.
• Deny or restrict unauthorized access to controlled or restricted areas.
• Verify visitors, contractor and employee compliance with security requirements.
• Recommend corrective or disciplinary actions for security non-compliance.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external authorities during emergencies or incidents.
• Ensure all security equipment and system are functioning effectively.

Job Requirements

• SPM or equivalent qualification in Security Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 3-5years of experience in security operations with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
• Good knowledge of security procedures, access control systems, CCTV monitoring, incident management and emergency response protocols.
• Familiarity with workplace safety, security regulations and company security policies.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate security personnel.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with employees, visitors, contractors and management.
• Ability to investigate incidents, prepare reports and maintain accurate security records.
• Strong problem-solving and decision making skills, particularly during emergencies and security incidents.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and security reporting systems.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks and respond effectively to changing operational requirements.
• Good observation skills, attention to detail and high level of integrity and professionalism.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, public holidays and emergency call-outs when required.
