Key responsibilities
Preparing accurate cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documents for construction projects
Valuing variations and change orders, ensuring all claims are properly documented and justified. Take-off quantities and prepare Bills of Quantities (BQ).
Preparing and reviewing interim valuations and payment certificates for submission to clients. Handle progress claims, variation orders (VO), and final accounts.
Conducting site inspections and measurements to verify work progress and quality standards
Liaising & coordinate with project managers, site personnel, consultants, and subcontractors.
Maintaining comprehensive project records and documentation for audit and compliance purposes
Requirements:
Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
Minimum 2 years' experience in building construction projects.
Strong knowledge of STRUCTURAL WORKS, including foundation, reinforced concrete (RC) works,beams, columns, slabs, brickwork, and general building construction.
Able to interpret construction drawings and specifications.
Experience in landed housing or residential building projects will be an added advantage.
Familiar with material costing, subcontractor evaluation, and project cost management.
Able to work independently with minimum supervision, responsible, and able to meet deadlines.
