System Upgrade for Airport Baggage Handling System

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and monitor the integrated project schedule covering engineering, procurement, manufacturing, delivery, installation, testing and commissioning activities.
• Monitor project progress and performance against approved baseline schedules and milestones, identify deviations and provide timely reporting to project management.
• Perform critical path analysis, schedule impact assessments and what-if scenario planning to evaluate project risks, delays and recovery opportunities.
• Prepare and maintain project progress measurement systems, including S-curves, key performance indicators (KPIs), dashboards and management reports.
• Support the preparation of monthly progress reports, look-ahead schedules and schedule presentations for project reviews with clients, consortium partners and internal stakeholders.
• Facilitate and participate in regular schedule review meetings with project teams, subcontractors, suppliers and consortium partners to ensure alignment of project activities and milestones.
• Identify schedule risks, constraints and opportunities, and support the development and implementation of mitigation and recovery plans.
• Monitor and manage project float and evaluate the impact of schedule changes on contractual milestones and project objectives.
• Support change management activities, including assessment of schedule impacts arising from variations, design changes, delays and disruptions.
• Support Extension of Time (EOT) submissions, delay analysis and claims preparation by providing schedule-related analyses and documentation.
• Coordinate planning and reporting interfaces between engineering, procurement, site execution, logistics, commissioning and other project functions.
• Monitor resource requirements, manpower deployment and productivity trends to identify potential bottlenecks and support project delivery.
• Maintain project status reporting tools, open issues registers, action trackers and project performance dashboards.
• Ensure compliance with applicable project management procedures, governance requirements and Vanderlande project execution processes.
• Support project managers with special assignments and project control activities as required.
  
  

Experience, Qualifications And Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience in planning, scheduling and project controls for large industrial, infrastructure, airport, automation, M&E or EPC projects.
• Proven experience in developing and managing engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning schedules.
• Strong understanding of project management principles, project controls, progress measurement and reporting methodologies.
• Good knowledge of Critical Path Method (CPM), schedule risk assessment, delay analysis and schedule impact evaluation.
• Experience supporting change management, Extension of Time (EOT) assessments and claims-related schedule analysis.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 is essential. Experience with Microsoft Project, Power BI and advanced Microsoft Excel is an advantage.
• Ability to analyse complex schedule data and summarize key information for management decision-making.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary and multicultural project teams.
• Experience coordinating with clients, subcontractors, suppliers and consortium partners is preferred.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and perform effectively in a fast-paced project environment.
• Excellent command of English, both written and verbal.
• Experience working on international projects or within multinational organizations is preferred.
