Job Description
- Invoice Processing & Verification: Receive, code, and match vendor invoices against purchase orders (POs) and delivery orders (DOs) using the 3-way matching principle.
- Vendor Management: Maintain and update vendor profiles, respond to payment inquiries, and reconcile vendor statements regularly to resolve any discrepancies or missing invoices.
- Month-End Closing: Assist in month-end closing activities by execute closing schedules efficiently, ensuring all transactions are captured within the strict corporate cutoff dates.
- Balance Sheet Reconciliations: Perform regular, detailed reconciliations of bank accounts, fixed assets, intercompany balances, and prepayments to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Fixed Asset Management: Maintain the fixed asset register, tracking acquisitions, disposals, and monthly depreciation schedules.
- Financial Reporting Support: Assist in the preparation of accurate financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement) and supplementary schedules for management review.
- Audit & Compliance: Coordinate with internal and external auditors by providing required schedules, documentation, and explanations for general ledger accounts.
- Vendor and contract management: oversee vendor, manage the end-to-end contract lifecycle and contract administration.
Job Requirement
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certifications will be added advantage.
- At least 2 years of hands-on corporate accounting, specifically focusing on general ledger functions or audit roles.
- Strong proficiency in ERP software (Eg. Microsoft Dynamics) and cloud accounting tools.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, and basic formulas).
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and MPERS.
Pay: From RM2,500.00 per month
