Job Summary

The Biomedical Technician is a member of Facilities Department team who is committed to wards the safety of patients and staff. Responsible to provide, predictive and corrective maintenance service which includes routine inspections, technical and work hand with the Nursing and other support services.

Duties and Responsilities

1. To carry all repairs as per the checklist.

2. To perform corrective maintenance T&C and PPM for the Biomedical Equipment as per the schedule

3. To write daily report on repairs and maintenance work done and submit to Head of department

4. To perform "On Call" duties as and when required.

5. To perform overtime when need arises.

6. To report immediately any mishaps or accidents.

7. To ensure all jobs request/assignments are completed timely

8. To liaise with respective Department Head on all job matters which need explanation to other department.

9. To ensure all tools and tools and equipments in the workshop and tool bag are properly arranged and maintained all times.

10. To ensure the work place are kept clean and tidy.

11. Access to documents in workshop office (except confidential documents)

12. To ensure smooth running of the Biomedical Department in the absence of Biomedical Engineer.

13. To perform any other duties as assigned by management from time to time

14. To attend onsite meeting or site visit for new Biomedical equipments arrival.

Academic Qualification

Minimum Diploma in Biomedical or Medical electronic

Work Location: In person
