We are looking for experienced Fiber Network Engineers to join a growing Technical Expertise Center (TEC) supporting global broadband customers.
This is a Level 3 (L3) role, where you will troubleshoot complex fiber network issues, collaborate with R&D, and drive resolution for high-impact customer cases.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex fiber broadband (FTTx) issues
- Perform deep root cause analysis (RCA) and provide long-term solutions
- Reproduce field issues in lab environments for detailed investigation
- Work closely with R&D, product engineering, and TAC teams
- Create and manage defect tickets (e.g., Jira) and track resolution
- Use diagnostic tools (Wireshark, iPerf, Spirent) for analysis
- Develop technical documentation and knowledge base content
- Participate in on-call rotation for critical cases
Requirements (Must-Have)
- 5–9 years of experience in fiber / fixed network troubleshooting
- Hands-on experience with FTTx / broadband access technologies
- Strong expertise in one or more:
- ISAM, ONT, Lightspan, Altiplano
- Solid knowledge of:
- Linux environments
- Networking protocols
- Proven experience in:
- Advanced troubleshooting / debugging
- Customer-facing technical support (L3 or equivalent)
Preferred Skills
- Experience with network analysis tools (Wireshark, iPerf, Spirent)
- Knowledge of Layer 2 / Layer 3 / IP/MPLS
- Scripting (Python or Shell)
- Experience working with R&D or product teams
- Certifications (Cisco / telecom-related)

Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM11,000.00 per month
