Tender & Costing Engineer to support our Sales Tender Department in preparing accurate cost estimates, tender submissions, and quotations. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet tight deadlines while ensuring competitive pricing and compliance with client requirements.

Job description:

• Study and analyze tender documents, drawings, and specifications.
• Prepare cost estimates, Bills of Quantities (BQ), and quotation in accordance with project requirements for customer.
• Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.
• Evaluate subcontractor/supplier quotations and prepare cost comparisons.
• Draft and issue quotations to customers in line with company pricing strategy.
• Support project managers and sales team during tender clarifications and negotiations.
• Maintain an updated database of material costs, supplier information, and market pricing trends.
• Assist in contract reviews and ensure compliance with contractual terms.
• Attend client/consultant meetings when required for tender clarifications or presentations.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction or related field.
• 1–4 years’ experience in tendering, cost estimation, and quotation preparation (preferably in construction/engineering industry).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and QS/tender software.
• Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise confidently with clients and supplier.
• Ability to work under tight tender deadlines and manage multiple submissions.
• Good communication skills (English & BM; Mandarin is a plus).

Working hour :
Monday – Friday: 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM
Saturday: 9.00 AM – 1:00 PM (Alternate Saturdays)
~Week 1: Working Saturday
~Week 2: Off Saturday

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
