Job Description

Responsibilities

Hong Kong Dianya Technology Company Limited is developing next-generation immersive cultural heritage platforms integrating Spatial Computing, Embodied AI, Digital Twin technologies, XR visualization, and motion-based flight simulation systems.

We are seeking an experienced R&D Director to lead advanced research and technology development activities involving real-time spatial computing, intelligent motion control, immersive human-computer interaction, and large-scale 3D environment reconstruction.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in addressing key technological challenges including computational scalability, low-latency hardware-software synchronization, immersive interaction optimization, and motion sickness mitigation within XR environments.

Responsibilities:

1. Spatial Computing and Digital Twin Research

Lead research and development of large-scale spatial computing systems, including digital twin frameworks, point cloud processing pipelines, and real-time environment reconstruction from LiDAR, photogrammetry, and other spatial sensing technologies.

2. Embodied AI and Motion Intelligence

Research mathematical models and computational architectures for embodied intelligence systems, including kinematic modelling, sensor fusion, trajectory optimization, and intelligent motion prediction.

3. Real-Time XR Synchronization and Control Systems

Develop and optimize low-latency synchronization frameworks between virtual environments and physical motion hardware through advanced control algorithms, feedback systems, and predictive modelling techniques.

4. Advanced Rendering and Computational Optimization

Investigate novel rendering pipelines, neural scene representations, and computational optimization methods to improve scalability, visual fidelity, and real-time performance of immersive XR applications.

Job Requirements:

- Education

  • Bachelor's degree or above in a STEM-related discipline

- Technical Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of mathematical modelling, numerical optimization, matrix computation, and high-dimensional data analysis.
  • Experience in large-scale system architecture design and deployment.
  • Familiarity with Digital Twin technologies and processing workflows for large-scale spatial datasets.
  • Experience with LiDAR point clouds, photogrammetry, 3D reconstruction, or spatial data processing.
  • Knowledge of real-time control systems, motion synchronization, and intelligent feedback mechanisms.
  • Understanding of robotics, kinematics, motion planning, or embodied intelligence systems.
  • Experience in computational performance optimization and scalable software.

Pay: Up to $23,000.00 per month

Experience:

  • Research Project Management: 5 years (Preferred)

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Pak Shek Kok, New Territories
