Responsibilities
Job Summary and Key Objectives
Be a key member to work on R&D projects which cover design, prototyping, testing and production trial of MCC products. This role should give full support to the Product Manager in carrying out the new product development on time. On top of supporting R&D, this position involves new product improvement, new application technical support and new MCC technology implementation.
Key Responsibilities include:
Manage to plan and organise a project with minimal supervision
Responsible for handling new short-term local projects independently
Provide guidance to the R&D engineer on the R&D process and ensure it is running as per the set
Set up SOP documents for the R&D process
Manage new product development projects for both global and regional products
To ensure projects are delivered on time and according to specification
Reporting project progress to the manager
Following the corporate guidelines and process for product development
Design and develop new products
Design a new product based on input from the project manager
Design new equipment based on input from the project manager
Prepare a prototype by coordinating with other departments, from purchasing to manufacturing
Arrange product testing according to the guidelines from the manager
Arrange product testing with the related laboratory
Ensure all projects undertaken, coordinated, overseen or participated in by the department are efficient and effectively completed within the specified deadlines based on Camfil Trosa's product development process
Liaise with key members from other departments to set up the necessary documents for a new product or process set up in the production line
Provide technical support to enhance the company's growth
Responsible on environment contamination control procedure, which includes
Involved in technical paper writing
Provide the necessary reporting documents to the management team
Carry out duties in accordance with Quality, Health, Safety, Environment and Energy Policy, Procedure and SOP
Requirements
MSc. or PhD in Chemical Engineering or equivalent
Minimum 3 years of working experience in the related field or equivalent knowledge level
Communicate well, writing or speaking, in English
Preferably to have air handling unit or air filter knowledge background
Computer-literate and good at Microsoft Office
Preferably to have knowledge of chemical filtration or experience in chemical processes
Preferably with prior experience from manufacturing or industrial;
Preferably has knowledge in project management
Willing to travel
