Front Office Assistant is responsible for greeting guests in an efficient and courteous manner and directing operations at properties and managing the day-to-day needs of these properties, including arrival, departures, Long Stay/Short term tenant and custodial tasks, while interacting with tenants to collect and process rents checks, maintain lease agreements, and showroom to potential lessees.
Responsibilities:
- Register guests and assigns rooms. Accommodates special requests whenever possible.
- Assists in pre-registration and blocking of rooms for reservations.
- Thoroughly understand and adhere to proper credit, check-cashing, and cash-handling policies and procedures.
- Coordinates room status updates with the housekeeping department.
- Maintains guest room key storage and maintains and supervises access to safe deposit boxes.
- To monitor Online Travel Agents (OTA) management which includes emails, customer requests, daily acknowledgment reports, reviews and other related matters pertaining to this platform.
- Reports any unusual occurrences or requests to superior.
Education & Experience
- Completed SPM, Diploma in relevant studies / field.
- Experience in customer service or hospitality (e.g., hotel front desk, guest services).
- Good Communication: Clear speaking and writing, messaging skills to interact with guests.
- Customer Service: Friendly, helpful attitude to solve guest problems and answer questions.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to keep things in order, manage bookings, and stay on top of tasks.
- Able to work night shift.
