About the Role

We are seeking an experienced M&E Supervisor - High Rise Construction to join our growing team in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. This is a full-time position based on-site, offering an excellent opportunity to oversee and coordinate Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) works on high-rise construction projects. As an M&E Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising daily M&E site activities, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring works are carried out in accordance with project specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and project schedules. This role plays a vital part in ensuring the successful delivery of our high-rise construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor daily Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) construction activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.

• Coordinate and oversee M&E subcontractors to ensure works are executed according to approved schedules, quality standards, and safety regulations.

• Monitor site progress and provide regular updates on work status, potential delays, and site issues to the Project Manager and M&E Manager.

• Assist in implementing and monitoring project work programmes to ensure timely completion of M&E works.

• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality workmanship, compliance with project specifications, and adherence to safety requirements.

• Assist in testing and commissioning activities and ensure all M&E installations are completed according to project requirements.

• Attend site meetings, inspections, and coordination meetings with consultants, contractors, and relevant stakeholders.

• Monitor material deliveries and site resources to ensure sufficient supply and proper utilization.

• Identify technical issues, non-conformance matters, and site constraints, and recommend corrective actions to minimize delays and rework.

• Maintain proper site records, progress reports, inspection checklists, and project documentation.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in supervising M&E works for high-rise development projects.

• Good knowledge of M&E systems, construction methodologies, testing & commissioning processes, and authority requirements.

• Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents.

• Strong communication, coordination, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently in a fast-paced construction environment.
