We are a growing property development and construction group committed to delivering quality residential, commercial, and mixed-development projects. As part of our expansion, we are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our team in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.
Responsibilities
Assist in daily accounting operations, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL).
Process invoices, contractor claims, and payments.
Prepare payment vouchers and maintain proper supporting documents.
Assist in bank reconciliations and accounting records maintenance.
Support month-end closing activities and preparation of accounting schedules.
Maintain project costing records and monitor project-related expenses.
Assist in preparing financial reports, audit schedules, and statutory submissions.
Ensure proper filing and documentation of accounting records.
Liaise with internal departments and external parties on accounting-related matters.
Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
Requirements
Diploma, LCCI, Certificate, or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
Experience in property development, construction, or related industries will be an added advantage.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
Good analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Responsible, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines.
