Core Responsibilities

• Medication Dispensing & Patient Assistance:

  • Assist in the dispensing process by accurately packaging and labeling medications as directed by a pharmacist. 

  • Explain and provide information to patients about their medications and offer guidance on medication management. 

  • Process incoming prescriptions for the pharmacist to review. 

• Inventory & Store Management:

  • Manage pharmacy inventory by ordering new stock, receiving deliveries, and organizing stock in a way that ensures stock rotation and reduces expiry. 

  • Maintain the store's cleanliness and organization, including the stockroom. 

• Customer Service & Sales:

  • Provide excellent customer service by welcoming and assisting customers with their needs. 

  • Process sales transactions accurately, including handling cash and other payment methods. 

  • Answer customer inquiries and resolve issues to ensure a positive experience. 

• Administrative Support:

  • Perform various administrative tasks, such as answering the phone and maintaining records. 

  • Assist with opening and closing procedures for the store.
