Responsibilities
Core Responsibilities
Medication Dispensing & Patient Assistance:
Assist in the dispensing process by accurately packaging and labeling medications as directed by a pharmacist.
Explain and provide information to patients about their medications and offer guidance on medication management.
Process incoming prescriptions for the pharmacist to review.
Inventory & Store Management:
Manage pharmacy inventory by ordering new stock, receiving deliveries, and organizing stock in a way that ensures stock rotation and reduces expiry.
Maintain the store's cleanliness and organization, including the stockroom.
Customer Service & Sales:
Provide excellent customer service by welcoming and assisting customers with their needs.
Process sales transactions accurately, including handling cash and other payment methods.
Answer customer inquiries and resolve issues to ensure a positive experience.
Administrative Support:
Perform various administrative tasks, such as answering the phone and maintaining records.
Assist with opening and closing procedures for the store.
