Job Description

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and manage the overall BIM execution strategy and implementation plan for assigned projects.
  • Collaborate closely with the BIM Manager and Project Manager to establish BIM workflows, standards, and project-specific requirements.
  • Coordinate and manage BIM models, shop drawings, and construction documentation across all project stages.
  • Support tender development by providing BIM-related technical coordination, model development, and drawing production.
  • Create, maintain, and update accurate 3D BIM models and related drawings in accordance with project schedules and quality requirements.
  • Execute, monitor, and maintain the BIM Execution Plan (BEP) throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct model reviews, clash detection, and coordination meetings to resolve design and construction conflicts.
  • Liaise effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and relevant authorities to ensure smooth BIM implementation and project delivery.
  • Continuously review BIM models, workflows, and methodologies to enhance project efficiency, quality, and compliance with project objectives.
  • Provide guidance and training to project team members on BIM processes, standards, and software applications.
  • Coordinate and monitor subcontractors’ shop drawing submissions to ensure quality, accuracy, and timely delivery.
  • Review and verify in-house and subcontractor shop drawings before submission for consultant approval and Issued for Construction (IFC) status.
  • Prepare and maintain as-built BIM models and drawings in accordance with project requirements and BIM Manager’s instructions.
  • Gather feedback from completed and ongoing projects and share lessons learned with the BIM team to drive continuous improvement in BIM deliverables and workflows.
  • Ensure compliance with company BIM standards, project specifications, and industry best practices.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, BIM Management, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant BIM coordination and modelling experience within the construction industry.
  • Proficient in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and other BIM-related software applications.
  • Strong understanding of BIM workflows, clash detection, model coordination, shop drawing production, and construction documentation.
  • Experience in both Structural and Architectural BIM modelling is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with BIM Execution Plans (BEP), Common Data Environment (CDE), and BIM standards.
  • Strong technical coordination, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and computer-aided design software.
  • Possess own transportation and willing to travel or relocate based on project requirements.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced construction and project environment.
