About the role

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Account Clerk to join our finance team at MECHANIKAR (M) SDN. BHD.' in Kelana Jaya, Selangor. As an Account Clerk, you will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the company's accounting operations. This is a full-time position.

What you'll be doing

• Perform accounts receivable and accounts payable tasks, including invoicing, billing, and processing payments
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
• Assist with the preparation of financial reports and statements
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions
• Provide support to the finance team as needed
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant accounting standards and regulations

What we're looking for

• At least 2 years of experience as an Accounts Clerk or in a similar financial role
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
• Proficient in using accounting software and spreadsheet applications
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Familiarity with the Accounting industry and its regulations
