Company Description Wyeth Water Consultants is a specialist consultancy with over 33 years of experience in Non-Revenue Water (NRW), including 29 years working across Asia. The company has delivered NRW awareness and training courses, conducted detailed water audits, and developed water balances and economic levels of NRW. Wyeth Water Consultants has been involved in managing NRW programs in multiple countries, including Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia, China, and Taiwan. The company is now focused on helping water utilities build NRW awareness and capabilities, and on supporting the development and implementation of successful NRW management projects.

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Civil Engineer role based in Nilai. The Civil Engineer will support the planning, design, and implementation of water and NRW-related infrastructure and management projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and reviewing civil engineering designs, conducting site inspections, and coordinating with project teams and stakeholders to ensure technical and regulatory compliance. The role will also involve supporting stormwater management planning, contributing to project documentation and reports, and assisting with data analysis related to NRW and system performance. The Civil Engineer will collaborate with senior consultants to help utilities optimize their water systems and achieve project objectives on schedule and within scope.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Civil Engineering and familiarity with industry standards and best practices.
  • Proficiency in Civil Engineering Design, including preparation of drawings, calculations, and technical specifications.
  • Experience with Planning for water-related infrastructure projects, including scheduling, resource planning, and risk considerations.
  • Knowledge of Stormwater Management principles, including drainage design, runoff analysis, and related regulatory requirements.
  • Recognized qualification as a Civil Engineer or equivalent professional background in civil engineering projects.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field; professional registration or progress toward registration is an advantage.
  • Ability to interpret technical data, perform basic hydraulic or hydrologic analyses, and prepare clear technical reports.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and contractors on-site.
  • Willingness to work primarily on-site in Nilai, with occasional fieldwork and site visits as project needs require.
  • Experience in water utilities, NRW projects, or related environmental infrastructure is highly beneficial.
