Job Description:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments for patients with speech, language, communication, and swallowing difficulties.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs, diagnosis, and medical condition.
• Provide therapy and interventions to patients of all ages (pediatric, adult, and geriatric).
• Educate patients, caregivers, and families on therapy techniques, communication strategies, and swallowing safety.
• Document assessments, treatment progress, and patient outcomes accurately in medical records.
• Support patients recovering from neurological conditions (e.g., stroke, traumatic brain injury, Parkinson’s disease) and other medical conditions affecting communication and swallowing.
• Conduct therapy for pediatric patients with developmental delays, autism spectrum disorder, and other communication disorders (if applicable).

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Speech Therapy / Speech Pathology with Honours from an accredited university by Malaysian Association of Speech-Language and Hearing
• 2-3 years of working experience in a setting/s that manages paediatrics and/or adult populations.
• Must possess a valid MAHPC licence (Malaysian Allied Health Professions Council).
• Prior hospital or clinical experience is needed.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
• Compassionate, patient-focused, and able to work effectively with diverse patient populations.
