Role Description

The Air Operation Executive is responsible for coordinating daily air import and export shipments, preparing shipping documents, handling customs declarations, and ensuring smooth communication with customers, airlines, Cargo Terminal Operators (CTO), customs authorities, and overseas agents.

Job Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and monitor air import and export shipments.
• Handle customs declarations including K1, K2, K3, K8, and ZB forms.
• Ensure all customs declarations comply with Malaysian Customs requirements.
• Submit shipment information and Air Waybill details through EDI systems when required.
• Coordinate with Cargo Terminal Operators (CTO) for cargo acceptance, cargo handover, and shipment processing.
• Liaise with customers, airlines, transporters, customs authorities, CTO personnel, and overseas agents to ensure smooth shipment movement.
• Track shipment status and provide timely updates to customers.
• Resolve shipment, documentation, customs clearance, and operational issues when required.
• Prepare billing information and maintain accurate shipment records.
• Ensure all operational documents are properly filed and maintained.
• Comply with company procedures, customs regulations, and aviation security requirements.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management from time to time.

Requirements & Qualifications

Education

• Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in air freight, logistics, freight forwarding, or customs clearance operations.

Skills & Competencies

• Experience in handling customs declarations (K1, K2, K3, K8, and ZB) is preferred.
• Familiarity with EDI systems, CTO operations, and Malaysian Customs procedures will be an added advantage.
