Job Description

Responsibilities

2 vacancies - Senior Planner and Planner Assistant/Admin

  • Planning and OTD
  • Work and Coordinate with customer service, Procurement, Logistics, Engineering, and Production teams to address day-to-day issues and ensure OTD.
  • Develop and implement production plans and strategies that meet customer forecasts, inventory targets, and customer delivery timelines.
  • Create, review, monitor and maintain detailed production plans, often daily, weekly, monthly, for all customers and products.
  • Review and Analyze production capacity for machine, manpower and materials to prevent bottlenecks and ensure efficient resource utilization.
  • Adjust schedules in a dynamic, fast-paced environment to address unexpected delays, orders upsize, pull in, and other unexpected issues. Triger recovery plan and action immediately to ensure OTD.
  • Analyze production data (cycle time, lead time, non-value added process) to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
  • Mass production tool life monitoring and triggering for new tooling fabrication. Coordinate with production and quality teams for new tool qualification and mass production.
  • Inventory and subcon management
  • Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods to maintain optimal stock to ensure OTD and no production disconnection. ( WIP 14 days + FG 36 days )
  • Material purchase review ,check to ensure right part ,qty and timing to purchase and do PR first approval.
  • Coordinate with the procurement and subcon to ensure timely supply as per plan without impact to production and delivery.
  • Sub con new product qualification coordination and sub con quotation review .
  • Utilize and manage ERP systems for tracking inventory and production progress. Review and take necessary action when required
  • Inventory and aging inventory review and action for aged inventory.
  • Customer Interaction:
  • Customer centric, respond to customer (internal/external) requirements, email and call fast and quick
  • Support customer audits and visits.
  • Work with the NPI or customer service to address customer requirements and concerns related to support customer requirements.

What we're looking for:

  • For Assistant: Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • For Senior: Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in production/material planning, material control, or supply chain management and international trade or customs compliance but Fresh Grads are also welcome to apply.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, inventory control, and supply chain principles.
  • Proficient in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Pay: RM2,200.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
