About the role
EASUN ENGINEERING SDN. BHD. is seeking a Purchasing cum Admin Assistant to join our team in Kota Kemuning, Selangor. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in supporting our procurement and administrative operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing purchasing activities whilst providing essential administrative support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. This role is instrumental in maintaining efficient supply chain processes and supporting the broader objectives of our manufacturing and logistics operations.
What you'll be doing
Processing purchase orders and coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and components
Maintaining accurate inventory records and conducting regular stock checks to ensure optimal stock levels
Liaising with vendors and suppliers to negotiate pricing, terms and delivery schedules
Preparing and updating procurement documentation, quotations and purchase requisitions
Monitoring purchase orders and following up on outstanding deliveries
Providing general administrative support including filing, data entry and document management
Assisting with scheduling, appointment coordination and basic office management tasks
Maintaining communication between departments to ensure procurement needs are met efficiently
Contributing to the accuracy and organization of purchasing records and reports
What we're looking for
Proven experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory management, preferably in a manufacturing or logistics environment
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with excellent attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word
Good communication skills, both written and verbal, in English and preferably Bahasa Malaysia
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management and basic inventory control
Diploma or Certificate in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Business Administration or related field
Experience with procurement or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is advantageous
Strong numerical and analytical skills to manage budgets and cost tracking
