About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join the team at Huo Loong Enterprise, a leading accounting firm based in Ipoh, Perak. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive bookkeeping and accounting support to our small business clients.

What you'll be doing

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records for clients, including processing invoices, payments, and reconciliations

• Preparing monthly and quarterly financial statements and reports

• Assisting with the preparation of annual financial statements and tax returns

• Providing excellent customer service to clients, answering their queries and addressing any accounting-related concerns

• Collaborating with the broader team to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the accounting practice

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar bookkeeping or accounting assistant role

• Strong technical skills in accounting software

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate financial records

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting or Business preferred
