Job Description

Responsibilities

The Inventory Control Assistant is responsible to support daily inventory operations and ensure accurate stock management across our retail and warehouse network. He/She will be responsible for monitoring inventory movements, maintaining inventory records, conducting stock reconciliations, and requires regular travel to company boutiques and outlets to conduct stock counts, inventory audits, and stock reconciliation activities to ensure inventory accuracy across all locations.

Job Descriptions

Inventory Management & Control

  • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records in the inventory management system.
  • Process and record all inventory transactions, stock movements, and stock transfers accurately and timely.
  • Conduct stock counts, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliations to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies between physical stock and system records.
  • Monitor product codes, stock movements, and inventory levels to identify and address variances.

Documentation & Report

  • Assist in preparing and maintaining inventory reports, stock records, and supporting documentation.
  • Ensure all inventory information and databases remain accurate, organized, and up to date.
  • Perform filing, scanning, and document management to support inventory operations.

Coordination & Support

  • Liaise with retail outlets, warehouse teams, and internal departments regarding inventory matters.
  • Provide timely support and respond to inventory-related inquiries.
  • Assist with ad-hoc tasks and projects assigned by supervisors to support operational requirements.

Requirements

  • Possess own transport and a valid driving license.
  • Willing to travel to boutiques/outlets for stock count and inventory verification purposes.
  • Able to work independently and travel as required.

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Statistics, Business Administration, Inventory Management, or a related field.
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, retail inventory, or stock management will be an added advantage.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems will be an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
