Job Description

Responsibilities

Job Summary

Wastech Multigreen Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a responsible and detail-oriented General Clerk to support the daily clerical, documentation, and weighbridge operations of our manufacturing facility in Bintulu. The successful candidate will be responsible for data entry, record keeping, document filing, weighbridge operations, and general administrative support to ensure smooth factory operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Weighbridge Operations

· Operate the weighbridge system for incoming and outgoing vehicles.

· Record and verify vehicle weight information accurately.

· Prepare and issue weighbridge tickets and related documentation.

· Ensure all weighbridge transactions are recorded and properly maintained.

· Coordinate with warehouse, production, logistics, and transport personnel regarding vehicle movements.

· Verify supporting documents such as delivery orders, purchase orders, and transport documents.

· Report any discrepancies in weight records or documentation to the supervisor.

· Ensure compliance with company procedures relating to weighbridge operations.

2. Data Entry & Record Keeping

· Perform accurate data entry into spreadsheets, databases, and company systems.

· Update and maintain operational, inventory, and administrative records.

· Verify information and ensure records are accurate and up to date.

· Generate simple reports as requested by supervisors.

3. Filing & Documentation

· Organize and maintain physical and electronic filing systems.

· File and retrieve documents upon request.

· Maintain records of incoming and outgoing documents.

· Ensure proper document control and record retention.

· Archive documents in accordance with company procedures.

4. Factory Administrative Support

· Assist in maintaining production, inventory, and operational records.

· Collect and compile documents from various departments.

· Assist in preparing documents for audits, inspections, and management reviews.

· Support visitor registration and document coordination activities.

· Assist with photocopying, scanning, printing, and distribution of documents.

5. General Administrative Support

· Handle incoming and outgoing mail, courier services, and document deliveries.

· Monitor stationery and office supply usage and report replenishment requirements.

· Maintain orderly storage of office documents and supplies.

· Provide clerical support to the Factory Manager, Admin Executive, and other departments.

· Assist in company meetings, training programs, and administrative activities.

6. Other Duties

· Perform any other clerical and administrative duties assigned by Management from time to time.

· Support continuous improvement of documentation and record management processes.

Requirements

Education

· SPM, STPM, Certificate, Diploma, or equivalent qualification.

Experience

· Minimum 1 year of clerical, administrative, or weighbridge operation experience.

· Experience in a manufacturing, factory, logistics, recycling, palm oil mill, quarry, or industrial environment is preferred.

· Experience operating a computerized weighbridge system will be an added advantage.

· Fresh graduates with good computer skills are encouraged to apply.

Pay: From RM2,000.00 per month
