Key Responsibilities
1. Operations Management
- Oversee and manage daily factory operations to ensure production targets are achieved.
- Monitor production schedules, workflow, and resource allocation.
- Ensure efficient utilization of manpower, machinery, materials, and facilities.
- Implement and improve operational procedures to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth operational execution.
2. Team Leadership & People Management
- Lead, supervise, and develop department heads and operational staff.
- Establish performance objectives and conduct regular performance reviews.
- Identify training and development needs for employees.
- Foster a positive working environment and promote teamwork across departments.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
3. Quality, Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and customer requirements.
- Monitor and enforce workplace safety regulations and environmental requirements.
- Lead corrective and preventive actions related to operational issues.
4. Planning & Continuous Improvement
- Develop operational strategies to support business growth and efficiency.
- Analyze operational performance and identify improvement opportunities.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize productivity, quality, and cost control.
- Manage operational risks and implement mitigation plans.
5. Budget & Cost Control
- Prepare and manage operational budgets.
- Monitor operating expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Review procurement, inventory, and resource utilization to ensure cost efficiency.
6. Reporting & Management Communication
- Prepare and submit weekly, monthly, and quarterly operational reports to Management.
- Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs) including production output, efficiency, quality, delivery performance, manpower utilization, and costs.
- Present operational performance, challenges, and improvement plans during management meetings.
- Provide analysis and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of operational data and business performance.
7. Stakeholder Management
- Liaise with customers, suppliers, government authorities, and external auditors when required.
- Collaborate closely with Finance, HR, Sales, Procurement, and Technical departments to achieve organizational objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.
- Minimum 5–8 years of managerial experience in manufacturing or factory operations.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and reporting abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, ERP systems, and operational reporting tools.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Pay: RM6,500.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
